Thank you for your interest in our company.
The security and confidentiality of your data is very important to us. In order to give you more information regarding the handling of your personal data, we make it clear for you on this page what happens to the data and what security measures we take. We will also inform you here about your statutory rights in connection with the processing of this data. We have appointed Mr. Tong (e-mail: tong(at)danale.com) as data protection officer.
You can assert the following rights with regard to your personal data:
- Information in accordance with Article 15 of the GDPR,
- Correction of inaccurate or complete data in accordance with Article 16 of the GDPR,
- File an objection against the processing of the data under Article 21 of the GDPR,
- Restriction of processing, Article 18 GDPR,
- Deletion of your data stored with us (Article 17 GDPR),
- The right to data transferability (see Article 20 of the GDPR)
- You have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data (see Art. 77 GDPR).
We only collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us, for example within the scope of a registration for a user account, contact enquiry, booking of services and unblocking data within the scope of the use of Danale applications. We will collect, process and use all personal data that we learn from you in the course of using our websites and applications only for the stated purpose. We take into account that this is only done within the framework of the applicable legal regulations and only with your consent. The data will only be passed on to third parties without your consent if we are legally obliged to do so.
If you contact us through the contact options offered, your details will be stored so that they can be used to process and answer your enquiry. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. Contact information includes, but is not limited to, your name, telephone number, email address and postal address.
User Account Details
When you create a user account through a Danale application to access Danale products and services, your login information such as your email address or phone number, account password and device ID, are stored among other things. Login information is stored so that you can log in from another device at any time. Device ID is saved if you have enabled 2-factor authentication to hinder third-party login.
For the payment of additional services in the Danale application, payment information such as name, card number, expiry date and secure codes are required, which are stored by a credit card payment service provider. Danale only stores the expiry date, the last two digits and the type of card. For payment via Paypal you will be redirected to the website of Paypal Inc. and the user account for Paypal will be added to the last used options of payment.
When you set up Smart Home devices that are compatible with our Danale application, we store certain information such as the device identification number, firmware version and model of the Smart Home devices you have set up; the description of the product in your user account; the user accounts with which you have shared devices; the geographical location of your mobile device (with your consent). WIFI-SSID and WIFI-password are only required for the setup of the Smart Home device and are only stored locally on your end device.
Our applications allow you to experience what's happening on site via a smart home camera on a terminal device. The video/audio files are encrypted and forwarded via a secure server to your device (Android/iOS/PC/MAC) without buffering. These files may be processed to detect events such as motion and noise and send them to you as notifications. If you have activated the additional Cloud Video Storage service, your video/audio files are saved for the time period offered and video/audio recordings are stored individually for motion and noise detection. Your files will be deleted immediately after the service has ended or has been terminated. It is not possible to restore the files.
Data Collection and Processing
We do not collect or process any personal data from you when you visit our website. Only information about the name of your provider and about the websites that you access from us, as well as information about the date and time of access, are stored in a log file and evaluated for statistical purposes (e.g. number of accesses for the individual websites). This is not personal data. It is not possible for us to assign the collected data to a specific natural person. As an Internet user, you remain anonymous.
Retention of data
We will keep the information about you only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as required or permitted by contract or law.
Right to Information
You have a right to inform yourself about your stored data, about the origin and recipient of your data as well as about the purpose of data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of these data. If you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data, information, correction, blocking or deletion of data or revocation of consents given, please use the contact information stated above in the text.
Right of Revocation
You are entitled to revoke your consent to the use of personal data for the future at any time with immediate effect. All you need to do is send an email to the email address stated in the text above.
In order to protect the personal data stored by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons, we have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures. The security level is continuously checked in cooperation with security experts and adapted to new security standards. Your data is stored in data canters certified to ISO/IEC 9001/27001 in the European Union.
